VIRTUAL INTEGRATION GAMES: MEET OUR REPRESENTATIVE OF JUDO AND KARATE – PUCP

The Virtual Integration Games and General Studies concluded Letters ranked 3rd in the general table.

This achievement was achieved with the effort and participation of many of our students who represented us in different activities and virtual challenges. Sebastián Valle was our only representative in the Judo and Karate tests, obtaining a podium for the Faculty in both disciplines.

“Although the situation separates us from the campus, participating representing the faculty in front of other faculties was an opportunity that could not be rejected,” says Sebastián.

Despite practicing martial arts frequently for some time due to studies, Sebastián managed to remember the techniques and do his rehearsals in confined environments at home. His effort and perseverance paid off, managing to take us to the podium in two disciplines:

• 2nd place in the discipline of Karate behind the Faculty of Management and ahead of General Studies Sciences
• 3rd place in the Judo discipline behind the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Psychology.

For Sebastián, “despite being all in our homes, the energy of competition was felt: the nerves to participate and the atmosphere created between participants, as well as the people who joined the zoom meetings to support. It was all a nice feeling.
