US Open 2021 – Gojowczyk match interrupted by the referee’s strange call to stop: “A joke!”
In the round of 16 duel between Peter Gojowczyk and Carlos Alcaraz there is a strange scene in the fourth set when the score is 1: 1, 15: 0: Alcaraz sees a forehand from Gojowczyk out of bounds, but continues to play and puts his punch next to the line. Thereupon chair referee Jimmy Pinoargote interrupts the game with a call to stop, although the Hawk Eye is there for control.
