Tottenham failed to take the 3 points from Rennes. In their opening game, Nuno Espirito Santo’s troops came to a 2-2 draw. Jeremy Doku was missing from the French due to an injury.
However, the “Spurs” started the game well. Even within the opening quarter, a pass from Lucas Moura was unluckily scored via Loic Bade.
Rennes was not really upset. Flavien Tait set up a one-two and curled the leather wonderfully in the corner. The Roazhon Park was on fire.
The French even went up and over Tottenham for a while. Gaëtan Laborde was there like the chickens to hit a rebound in goal. So all hands on deck for the “Spurs”. Substitute Hojbjerg quickly equalized a few minutes after the 2-1.
