The future of Ben Simmons conditioned … to the Hawks ?!

Soon traded from the Sixers, at least normally, Ben Simmons must find the time long. It must be said that his exchange promises to be very complex, with the possible involvement of a third team. This is where the Hawks come in, they who can make a big difference.

It’s no longer a secret in the current league, Ben Simmons has asked from the Sixers. The criticisms received following his bad season have changed the situation, and especially the lack of support. According to some sources, a particular event motivated the Australian in order to confirm his desire to leave. Clearly, Philly is far from having played the shot perfectly.

Just see again this nasty tackle from a Simmons news channel to better understand. This soap opera goes much too far, with the leader who finds himself overwhelmed by criticisms, some of which are undeserved. We therefore hope that this episode will be over soon, for the good of everyone.

Because for the 76ers, landing at training camp with a Simmons in the workforce is clearly not the best solution. This remains a possibility, however, because Daryl Morey does not manage to find a satisfactory counterpart. A few weeks ago, he had tried the coup with the Warriors, without success. At the same time, when we see the request of the Sixers, we understand better why.

A trade between the Sixers and another team ultimately promises to be quite complex. As we said, Morey is greedy, which means that the involvement of a third franchise is probably preferable in order to facilitate negotiations. Who ? You guessed it, we are talking about the Hawks here, who have a nice core of young players … perhaps too aptly.

According to journalist Chris Kirschner of The Athletic, it is not impossible to see Atlanta interfering in the talks to unblock all of this:

Let’s say Wolves are the team that decides to go get Ben Simmons. They’ll likely need a third team because they don’t have the young players it takes to please the Sixers. This is where someone like Cam Reddish comes in and somehow ends up in the deal. The Hawks have what it takes to get Simmons back, but it would arguably be as a third team instead.

For the Hawks, it might be an opportunity to recover a confirmed player instead of a youngster. In search of the playoffs, it is in any case a move that makes sense. However, for now, no information on a potential three-team deal. Ben Simmons is going to have to be patient.
