First Formula One (F-1) drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lens Strols will start next season with Aston Martin.
“I’m really looking forward to the moment when I can drive the new generation of F-1s,” Vettel said. “They look different and the new technical rules will allow us to be more competitive. It is such a big change, it will be a new beginning for every team, so it will be a great opportunity for us too.”
For 34-year-old Vettel, this is the first season in the Aston Martin ranks since moving from Ferrari. He is currently in 12th place in the overall pilots rating after 14 races. Vettel is a four-time F-1 champion, winning all the titles in the Red Bull team.
22-year-old Canadian pilot Lens Strolls ranks 13th overall. Strols has been participating in F-1 racing since 2017.
