The benches were emptied in the Yankees and Mets game

Francisco Lindor hit a home run that gave the Mets a 7-6 victory over the Yankees in Sunday’s game on September 12 in the MLB, but this was the culmination of a spicy night of dueling against Giancarlo Stanton.

It all started when Stanton homered Brad Hand to tie the game against city rivals. When he was running the bases, the slugger had an argument with Lindor, who until then had two homers that had been key to the advantage of the Metropolitans.

Afterward, Lindor hit his third home run of the game for the Mets to get ahead and as he ran he said various things to the Yankees dugout, evidently in the direction of Stanton.
