Sunday in the ARD and the ZDF: The rules of the second TV triell – politics

The second triall starts on TV on Sunday. ARD and ZDF have teamed up and broadcast the live program together.

Time: ARD and ZDF will be showing TV triall number two this Sunday, after RTL and ntv at the end of August and before ProSiebenSat.1, which will be a week before the election on September 26th. ZDF editor-in-chief Peter Frey estimates the importance of the current Triells as very great. The proportion of the undecided is currently decreasing a bit.

“People are in the process of forming their minds. And this is exactly the phase in which this program hits, ”he said. He hopes for a double-digit million participation in TV viewers. 16.23 million people watched the duel between Angela Merkel and Martin Schulz in 2017.

Baerbock will be standing between Laschet and Scholz again. The speaking time is repeatedly faded in to ensure equal opportunities for speaking. Nine cameras record the whole thing.
