Ribéry spent the last two years in Fiorentina, which, however, decided not to extend the expiring contract after last season. He played 51 matches for the whole of Florence, scored five goals and passed to ten.
He came to Fiorentina Ribéra in August 2019 after twelve successful years in Bayern Munich. He won nine titles with the Bavarian club and in 2013 he also triumphed with him in the Champions League.
