The event aims to promote social integration through sport
Polisportiva Mcl Tennis Antella took part in the first edition of “Different to play”, taking place between yesterday and today at the Cascine. A weekend dedicated to sport and social inclusion. The initiative, promoted by the Borgogni Onlus association, was joined by, among others, the Ripolese Rosa dei Venti association, the Italian Red Cross – Bagno a Ripoli Committee, Judo Bagno a Ripoli, Rotary Club Bagno a Ripoli.
“Different to play has a double meaning – explained the organizers -: transporting people with disabilities who do not play sports to the world of sport, creating and promoting the culture of inclusion for all those who want to experience what it means to practice sport in conditions of disability “.
“It is a beautiful event, very touching – declares Paolo Baldini, president of Polisportiva Tennis Antella – We could not not participate. It helps us to look to the future, to organize ourselves to welcome these new players ”.
