Shannon Pohl (born November 9, 1980) is a badminton player from the United States.
career
Shannon was the highest-scoring American badminton player in the world in the women’s singles in 2009. Her first position is # 69 in the world in women’s singles. Shannon was a member of the United States World Championship badminton team in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009. She represented the United States in badminton tournaments in 46 countries.[1]
He played at the 2005 Badminton World Championships in Anaheim and reached the round of 32.
Instruct
Shannon is currently the coach and director of the Shannon Pohl Badminton Academy in Vernon Hills, Illinois. She is an elite level 2 badminton coach in the USA and was the assistant national coach of the United States for the 2010 Pan American Jr. Championships.[2]
