Peter Bosz’s Olympique Lyon suffered a defeat at Paris Saint-Germain in the absolute final phase. The visitors even took the lead, but PSG scored the winning goal in injury time. Juventus has drawn – with Matthijs de Ligt on the bench – against AC Milan.
PSG – Lyon 2-1
The duel between Paris and Lyon wavered up and down. Lionel Messi had a number of opportunities in the first half, but the Argentinian was unable to score his first goal for PSG. Lyon did not score either, so that the glasses position only disappeared from the scoreboard after the break.
Lucas Paquetá surprisingly gave the visitors the lead after 54 minutes. The Brazilian was played well by Karl Toko Ekambi, after which he passed Gianluigi Donnarumma in the short corner: 0-1. However, it wasn’t long before PSG came alongside again. The Parisians were awarded a cheap penalty after Neymar went to the ground. The Brazilian used the penalty himself, making it 1-1.

More than ten minutes after Neymar’s goal, Messi was taken off by coach Mauricio Pochettino. The 34-year-old left leg was not happy with that: he clearly showed his dissatisfaction to his trainer. After Messi’s substitution, goals were scored: Mauro Icardi headed in the winning goal in injury time. This puts PSG firmly in the lead in Ligue 1.

Juventus – Milan 1-1
The Serie A top match between regional rivals Juventus and AC Milan ended in a draw. De Ligt was on the bench with the home team for ninety minutes, where Álvaro Morata opened the score after four minutes. The Spaniard tipped the ball into Milan’s goal after a smooth counter.

Juventus held onto the lead for a long time, until the 76th minute. Ante Rebić headed the ball against the ropes from a corner. As a result, Juventus and Milan both have a point left in the game. The former is therefore in a shocking eighteenth place, which means relegation at the end of the season. Milan is second, with a less goal difference than leader Internazionale.
