Arrival of the quinté: 14-15-4-8-13
The quinté du jour took place at the ParisLongchamp racecourse. This event pitted fifteen competitors against each other after the forfeit of Shannkiyr (n ° 16), aged 4 to 7, on the 2,400-meter course. This handicap favored the well-placed horses during the course. Among them : Port Deauville (n ° 14), one of the most experienced of the race who made short work of his opponents, under the grip of Eddy Hardouin. After galloping in fourth position, the horse trained by Franck Forési progressed inside and then put in an excellent boost to set off for success. For the occasion, he won the second quinté of his career.
Finishing behind the winner, By My Side (n ° 15) quickly found herself at the forefront. It made a good effort to take second place and thus proves its competitiveness in this kind of confrontation in 35 value. Jacksun (n ° 4) took the train on his own. He accelerated perfectly and valiantly defended himself to narrowly retain the second runner-up, ahead of the favorite by a short head, Free Electron (n° 8). Santa Zoo (n ° 13) completes the arrival. The resident of Alain Couétil makes a convincing debut in this style of tournament.
