It Paschetto municipal stadium is the baseball stadium of the city of Turin.

Located in the Lingotto district, it is mainly composed of a main court equipped with lighting and a 1,000-seat grandstand, a softball court with lighting and a 99-seat grandstand, a field for the Under-12 category and a heated tensile structure.[1]

The construction of the plant took place during the 1970s.

In 1983 the stadium was one of the venues that hosted some matches of the 1983 European Championships, held in Italy.[2] In June 1996, Juventus ’48 Torino won the CEB Cup of that year here at home, a trophy played between clubs not qualified for the Champions Cup.

On the night of March 20, 2003, part of the stadium roof underwent a structural failure. Following this, a year later the reinforced concrete roof was removed, while a new wooden roof was completed two years later.[3]

The stadium returned to host a major international event in September 2009, when three matches of the 2009 World Cup were played, including the match between Italy and the United States which ended 3-12 in favor of the Americans.[4] On the occasion of the competition, the plant was renovated with a series of interventions.[5]

On the occasion of the 2021 European Championships, organized in Piedmont in the Turin, Avigliana and Settimo Torinese offices, the stadium of the capital was designated to host 13 matches including the final.
