NFL: Cowboys beat Eagles 41-21

ARLINGTON, Texas – Dak Prescott had three touchdown passes and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 41-21 on Monday.

Prescott was playing his first game at AT&T Stadium since his ankle injury on the same court nearly a year ago.

Trevon Diggs drove an interception for 59 yards all the way to the end zone.

The coup came in the first minute of the second half, taking the Cowboys’ cushion to 26-7.

Diggs and Logan Wilson of the Cincinnati Bengals lead the NFL with three interceptions apiece.

Ezekiel Elliott had 95 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Tight end Dalton Schultz caught 22- and 19-yard touchdown passes.

Prescott did not commit an interception, but the Eagles (1-2) managed a touchdown after he dropped a ball in the pay zone.

Prescott completed 21 of 26 passes, registering 238 yards over the air.

At the end of the first half, the Cowboys (2-1) had the advantage 19-1 in the chapter of the first tests.

Jalen Hurts had 326 passing yards, two of which resulted in touchdowns. He was the victim of two interceptions.

At the halfway point, Football Hall of Fame rings were presented to inductees Jimmy Johnson, Cliff Harris and Drew Pearson over the summer.

The Cowboys’ home could once again accommodate a full house. The match drew 93,267 people.

Dallas will host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, who will try to bring their record to 4-0.
