Today the first match against the Granada will be played, and the second will be next Saturday.

Melilla Sport Capital faces today the first of the matches that will face Covirán Granada, within the tour that the team led by Arturo Álvarez will carry out through Granada until next Saturday.

The Asturian coach will have the entire first team for this tour, except for the already known absences of Mouha Barro and JV Mukama, who have not yet joined the team’s preseason due to bureaucratic issues. The roster for this match will be completed by the player linked to MSC Enrique Soler, from LEB Plata, Diego De Blas, and the youth squad Fauvase Seidou.

Today’s will be the second game of the preseason for the Azulinos, who last Saturday faced MSC Enrique Soler of the EBA League, which they beat by a clear 106-52, leaving good feelings on the field.

That game will have little to do with the one that awaits the dean. And it is that Covirán Granada is one of the team called to fight for promotion this season. Already last season, Pablo Pin’s men stayed at the gates and for this campaign, they have not only retained important players such as Costa, Christian Diaz, Iriarte, the former Melilla Baloncesto Edu Gatell or Brophle, but have also incorporated important names to its already competitive staff.

Among the additions made are those of Pere Tomàs, Jacobo Díaz, Petit Niang or the American scorer James Ellisor, who will not participate in today’s match against the Melilla team.

This first clash between people from Granada and Melilla will take place at 8:00 p.m., behind closed doors, at the Veleta Pavilion in the Nasrid capital.

The Melilla Basketball Club will travel this Thursday to Granada, where it will face two friendly matches within the first of the two preseason tours that the team led by Arturo Álvarez will carry out.
