Year after year the Steelers acquire new cornerbacks because in the NFL you can never have enough. Now the team of Pittsburgh handed a fifth-round pick from the 2023 Draft to the Seattle Seahawks to acquire Ahkello Witherspoon.
Witherspoon had come to Seattle last offseason after spending his first four years as a professional with the San Francisco 49ers. He started two of three preseason games with the Seahawks.
He was drafted by the Niners in the 2017 Draft and during his time at Levi’s Stadium he racked up 116 tackles, four interceptionsOne of them took her to the promised land, and 24 passes defended in 47 games.
