LeBron James and Anthony Davis are a formidable duo on and off the pitch. The proof, for the first Big NFL day of the season, the King did what any good friend would do: he provoked AD following a poor result for his team, the Green Bay Packers.
After 7 months of waiting, the NFL season is finally back to the delight of sports fans across the Atlantic. Until the first weekend of February and the Super Bowl, every Sunday will now be punctuated by touchdowns, field goals and yardage stories. And as in the NBA for the last playoffs, the return of the public to the stadiums is greatly beneficial for the show.
Speaking of the NBA, plenty of league stars were in front of their TVs for that first big day of competition, and some legends even made it to the stadium:

Unlike Magic Johnson, who made the short trip to see his Rams from Los Angeles, LeBron James stayed home so he could keep an eye on all the results. While he obviously looked at his Browns, he couldn’t help but send a little provocation to Anthony Davis when he saw the debacle of his heart team, namely the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers were down 31-3 at the time this message was sent, and it’s a safe bet the fans were in a pretty deplorable state of nervousness. And the situation got even worse after that as Green Bay conceded a final touchdown in total humiliation to start the season with this 38-3 loss. The season could be particularly long …
Because if the franchise has one of the best players on the planet with Aaron Rodgers, the latter has clearly expressed his desire to join a more ambitious project. And when the quarterback, the most important position in the NFL, is not on his plate, it’s the whole team that drinks. Anthony Davis is probably not done tearing his hair.
The NFL is entertainment, suspense, but also the opportunity for fans to provoke each other from a distance. NBA players are not going to deprive themselves by the end of the season.
