LE CREUSOT: The big comeback of neighborhood meetings, it was Tuesday evening in Guynemer

And of course we talked about the big and small daily worries. In particular, water was discussed, with a heavy adition to pay: 70 million euros.

“The big day is here !” This is what David Marti launched on Tuesday evening at Les Creusotines and Les Creusotins, who came to take part in the neighborhood meeting which took place at the Guynemer room.
After the meetings on the web, the pleasure of meeting up and being able to discuss, has shown that it is still more pleasant. And it was a first, as elected officials, for many: Christine Léger, Barbara Sarandao, Huggo Nieddu, Arnaud Deleplanque, Pierre Brugniau and Adel Soumati, lived their baptism of fire… Not only in observation.

At the start of the meeting, David Marti recalled some major works. They concerned rue Bayard, with future road repairs, rue des Puddlers, rue de la Marne, etc.
We talked about water. “The State obliges communities to avoid water loss on the networks. But also to prevent wastewater from flowing into nature ”.
This will have a cost: “70 million euros of investments over the next 20 years, for the upgrading of all the purification plants”, specified the Mayor and President of the Urban Community. These will be investments led by the Urban Community.
The time, by work carried out or to come to the Judo room, to the medico-social center, to the municipal technical center and to the Saint-Eugène cemetery with a new columbarium, and we have moved on to so-called proximity exchanges.

TGV shuttle

A resident of Croix Menée lamented the absence of a shuttle to reach the TGV station. “The whole neighborhood is private and that’s not normal compared to other neighborhoods,” she said. The Mayor replied that the number of stops had been reduced to meet the demand of regulars of the shuttle. “Yes there are fewer stops than before, because the regulars of the shuttle have asked us to make it faster. We are going to look at which one we can remove, to add one to the Croix Ledée ».

Parking

A resident of rue des Lamineurs complained of too many cars being parked by a person who repairs cars. The Town Hall will see what it can do to curb the recurring problem.

Humidity misplaced?

The aquatic center is obviously a swimming pool and several pools. “There is too much humidity on the ground” assured a resident, which left the Mayor a little speechless. Like the fact that this same person said she was not happy to have waited 30 minutes in the ER. What made other participants smile.

Priority on the right against speed

To a resident deploring the excessively fast speed of cars on Avenue de la République and suggesting that priority be established on the right, the Mayor replied in the affirmative: “Yes, what we want is priority on the right. Are we going to try it out in a neighborhood? This one lends itself to it ”. And David Marti explains that in the face of speed there are not 36 solutions: The tickets, the locks, the parking of vehicles which slows down the speed, the priority on the right, and the narrowing of the roadways. But I say it: the delinquents of the road will always remain the delinquents of the road ”.

Flowers and trees

Regarding the embellishment and to respond to arrests, the OPAC will be arrested for breaches on avenue de la République, while for the flowerbeds in front of the medical office in the heart of the city, it was specified that the plantations do not have not yet taken place ”.

Rodeos

Questioned about the urban rodeos, the night, David Marti recalled that the Deputies passed a law. He specified that the National Police is not in the logic of launching chases with risks and that the municipal police officers do not have this prerogative.

Degraded islands

About the degraded islets, including the one located between rue Foch and rue des Martyrs, Evelyne Couillerot explained that the community is committed to its takeover with the public land establishment. “We also worked on the OPAH”.

Another supermarket …

Asked about the former Bricomarché and Netto which have closed, David Marti explained that these are private owners who can sell to whomever they wish. He also indicated that a buyout with demolition would be very expensive. Regarding the Leader Price which has closed, a new sign should open: Sup’Eco.
