Le Bérubé GM wins and the series is equal

The semi-final round in the Puribec Senior Baseball League continued Tuesday night in Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac.

With a score equal 2-2 after four innings, the Bérubé GM of Trois-Pistoles went there with an eight-point push at the start of the fifth to take a 10-2 lead. The Braves fought back with four points at the end of 6e and one at the end of 7e, the match ending 10-7.

Dave Voyer hit three of the winners’ fifteen hits in addition to producing three runs. For the Braves, Samuel Pearson also struck three times from a safe place.

Andy Saint-Gelais pitched five good innings for the victory while Maxime Hudon, who worked four and a third innings, suffered the backhand.

This series is now tied 2-2. It will continue on Friday in Trois-Pistoles and on Saturday in Témiscouata. If necessary, a possible game 7 will take place next Tuesday. The series is now a 2 of 3. It looks like Bérubé GM will have to find a way to beat Dany Paradis-Giroux who is more than likely the starter for Friday. If necessary, he would return to the mound with three days off the deciding game.
