After a quick goal of Moussa Dembele (8th), Denayer cheated Sels with a header on a corner played in two stages by House Aouar and xherdan Shaqiri (65th). For his first tenure of the year in the league after two climbs in the game, the Red Devil thus unlocks his counter. Lucas Paqueta (87th) scored Lyon’s third goal. Habib Diallo, on penalty, reduced the gap for Lyon in the last moments of the game (90th + 7).
Lyon (8 points) goes back to sixth position, 7 points behind the leader, Paris Saint-Germain. Strasbourg occupies the 16th position with 4 units.
