Is D’Angelo Russell’s dad a drug dealer?

The father of NBA star of the Minnesota Timberwolves, D’Angelo Russell, is under close scrutiny for problems with the drug world. Local authorities filed a complaint against Antonio Russell seizing $ 50,000 off him for probable drug trafficking.

Officials detained NBA dad D’Angelo Russell on March 12 after reporting what appeared to be a “suspicious trip” related to the drug world. One of the reasons that led the cops to suspect Russell’s plans was the fact that he had bought it the day before. According to Nicholas Nimeskern, an operational task force for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, in an affidavit:

“Drug traffickers and couriers often don’t make travel plans well in advance because they get last-minute information on offers.”

This led the officers to discover about $ 50,000 in cash on Russell’s person. When asked to explain why he had a large sum on him, Russell replied that he was planning to buy a car in Los Angeles and that he was running a business that helped NBA players secure sponsorship deals with brands. However, the phone records showed no evidence of car transactions, and Antonio Russell refused to name his customers.
