– «Novak should thank Roger. He triggered it all »

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are both absent from the US Open again. Do you miss them?
Naturally. A lot. I like to see new winners. But especially in the first week I miss these two. The boys don’t have the same flair as her. It was a privilege to see either Roger or Rafa take turns at the Grand Slams every day. When Zverev outclasses his opponents, it’s boring. It’s also fun to watch Roger when he’s thinking. People are amazed, he mobilizes the masses, thanks to him there is a vibe. And now? The stadium is usually half empty.
