Zlatan Ibrahmovic is known for his provocative appearance. He does not spare his teammates either, as Ashley Cole revealed.

Ashley Cole (40) spoke about his time together with Zlatan Ibrahimovic (39) at LA Galaxy and revealed that today’s Milan star was not always squeamish with his teammates. The former England international also told how he once clashed with Ibrahimovic.

“Zlatan has two personalities. With us in the locker room he was brilliant, calm, very humble, but for the media he was God,” said Cole in an interview with British comedian Romesh Ranganathan. If he did not like the performance of his teammates, Ibrahimovic did not hide this.

Cole stated, “He had moments when he walked into the locker room and said to people, ‘You got a sh *** ball treatment, you can’t run and you’re too slow.’ But his demeanor changed in front of the media. “

When asked if he had personally had problems with Ibrahimovic, Cole recalled a day when there was tension between the two players. “He tried to confront me once and he threw his hands in the air,” said the former left-back.

Cole continued, “I said, ‘Put your damn hands down’. I’m dead serious, honestly. I was like, ‘You might be a little right, but don’t put your hands up.'”

From 2018 to 2019, Cole and Ibrahmovic stood together for LA Galaxy. After the Englishman ended his career at Derby County two years ago, Ibrahimovic moved to AC Milan in January 2020. He is still under contract with the Rossoneri until the end of the season.
