The fourth day of the Flying Dutchman world championship took place last Thursday the 9th at the Altea Yacht Club, with a more favorable wind prediction compared to the previous days.

Already on the race course, the starting signal for the first round was given at 12:23 noon, with winds of 140º that exceeded 10 knots of intensity; This facilitated the task of the regatta committee, thus carrying out two tests in total, each lasting an hour and a half.

With two more days left for the Flying Dutchman world championship, the podium is consolidating with six first places and one second for the Hungarian team, made up of Szabolcs Majthenyi and Andras Domokos.

Germany and Spain defend their presence on the podium, with three third places for the RCN Torrevieja boat manned by Francisco Martinez Torregrosa and Jose Luis Ruiz Giron and four second places and one first for the Germans, Kay Uwe Ludtke and Kai Schäfers.
