Herbert also relies on Dennis Schröder

NBA star Dennis Schröder is said to play an important role in the German national basketball team under the new national coach Gordon Herbert.

The 62-year-old Canadian said in an interview with Sport1 that, like all the other players, he would seek a conversation with Schröder and hope to be accepted. At the Olympic qualification and the games in Tokyo, the early 28-year-old player was absent due to unresolved insurance issues.

“It’s obvious that Dennis is a very talented player. We hope he will play. Dennis is a player who makes all the difference,” said Herbert.
