Frank Ntilikina bids his poignant farewell

New Mavericks player Frank Ntilikina released a video this Sunday evening, as well as a message to thank the city and New York fans. End of a chapter for the leader, who hopes to relaunch in Texas now.

Drafted with the Knicks 4 years ago now, Frank Ntilikina has not had the impact hoped for. His defensive prowess quickly helped, but he never managed to exist offensively speaking. Last year, Tom Thibodeau did not bet much on him, thus forcing his departure during the summer.

The news fell a few days ago, arousing many reactions : Frank will play in Dallas next year. He signed a two-year lease, and he hopes to shine alongside Luka Doncic and company. But before he left completely, he didn’t forget to thank the fans.

New York, it’s been 4 years already … I remember the day of the draft as if it was yesterday. One of my childhood dreams has come true. Playing for the Knicks has been a real chance and an incredible experience. You welcomed a kid who had just left his home in pursuit of his dreams and goals, and who wanted to keep growing. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Last but not least, to all Knicks fans around the world… Thank you! The support has been incredible from day one. Through the wins and losses, the ups and downs, we have all seen how unwavering the passion and love for basketball remains despite it all. I am leaving now for a new chapter on my journey, forever grateful for this opportunity.

The French Prince ????????????

New course for Frank Ntilikina, who will therefore play in Dallas next year. Hoping that the Frenchman will recover after a difficult period at the Knicks, but where he definitely grew up. It’s up to him to play.
