Baltimore derrota a Kansas City

Baltimore— Lamar Jackson finally beat Patrick Mahomes, using his legs to rush for 107 yards and score twice, including jumping into the end zone to score the victory when Baltimore defeated Kansas City 36-35 last night.

Jackson was 0-3 against the Chiefs, and it needed all of his multiple skills to break through and give Mahomes his first loss in September after 11 wins. The NFL MVP showdown – Mahomes in 2018, Jackson the following year – was a wild affair from the start.

And the Ravens needed a Clyde Edwards-Helaire fumble as Kansas City moved into field goal range to secure it.

With Jackson leading the Ravens’ 251 rushing and throwing yards for 239 and a touchdown, Baltimore ensured that all four AFC North teams were 1-1. Kansas City, which allowed 481 yards and gained 405, is also 1-1 in the rugged AFC West.

The dynamic Jackson doubled into the end zone to his right with jumps – well, the last TD was more of a vault. Twice the Ravens missed 2-point conversions, but Jackson’s 2-yard dash on the fourth down after Edwards-Helaire fumbled ensured the victory.
