Football: some big games and a poster planned on the banks of the pond

This is the second round of the Coupe de France, this Sunday, September 5 for the Thau teams.

This Sunday, the only poster between R1 clubs will oppose Stade Balarucois to Lattes, it will be the opportunity for Adil El Hasnouni’s men to compete with a team of the same level and different pool.

For the coach from Vaucluse, it’s a good draw just before the championship: “Playing at home against a solid opponent is preferable to a trip to a supposedly weaker one where the trap is often possible.” Still, for the Stadium, the game promises to be complicated.

The Mézois at home will find a formation they know well. During the first round last year, they qualified on penalties with in particular a Florent Pascal in a state of grace.

Asfac and La Peyrade are out

On the side of Asfac, it is in Sauvian that we will open the ball. Here too, it will take seriousness even if the mission seems easier against an opponent who evolves at the lowest level of the district.

The Lapeyradois will make a long trip to face the Lamalousiens who won Cazouls in the previous round. The remarkable debut of the Reds suggests that the kilometers should not be an insurmountable problem.

The RS Gigean will have the opportunity to complete an additional lap. An opponent of the same level at home is within the realm of possibility.

Finally, worse off from the clubs of Thau, Pointe-Courte will be opposed to Palavas. It will take a “Navy and white” team in the purest tradition …
