FC Bayern: separation from board member Jörg Wacker will be expensive – Bundesliga

The board of directors of FC Bayern is shrinking from five to four members.

The revelation from the “Bayern-Insider” program on BILD LIVE, after which FC Bayern parted ways with board member Jörg Wacker (53), has now been confirmed by the club with a short press release. It said: “Jörg Wacker has left the board of directors of FC Bayern München AG.”

Wacker has a seven-figure annual salary. Since the contract was extended by five years to 2024 in 2019, the separation will be expensive for Bavaria.

The Wacker tasks are to be split up in the future. The “Internationalization” area goes to board member Andreas Jung (56), “Merchandising” to board member Jan-Christian Dreesen (54). CEO Oliver Kahn (52) takes care of the “strategy” area himself.
