UEFA suspension: HSV talent Suhonen cancels international trip

After the performance in Aue (Friday, 6.30 p.m., live on Sky), the HSV national players will pack their bags to prepare for the trips to their home countries. For one, however, the trip ended before it began: Anssi Suhonen has now been banned from UEFA for two games after being sent off against Croatia and is not traveling to the Finnish U21s.

HSV coach Tim Walter will be fine. Suhonen stays in Hamburg and will also take part in the test in Wolfsburg (October 6th). There is agreement between those responsible and the professional that the trip to his home country makes no sense, as he cannot be in the internationals anyway. Still open, how it looks with Tommy Doyle. This morning England’s association announces its squad for the European Championship qualifying matches of its U21s in Slovenia (October 7th) and Andorra (October 11th). At HSV, they expect Doyle to be there.
