National Basketball Association (NBA) club Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embyd has said in his Twitter profile that he should not believe the rumors surrounding the possible abandonment of Ben Simons’ team.

It has already been reported that sources have indicated that Simons is not interested in continuing to play in Philadelphia, and that he does not plan to participate in the unit’s training camp, which will start this month. Simons does not plan to go to the training camp despite receiving a financial penalty. The 25-year-old Australian announced his intentions at a meeting in Los Angeles last week, which was attended by Derrill Mory, president of 76ers basketball operations, Elton Brand, general manager, and Dock Rivers, head coach.

“Sources: Trust me! Stop using my name to change people’s agendas, ”writes Embīds. “I love and hate drama. I like to play with Ben, the statistics don’t lie. He is a great player and we have not done our job yet. This also applies to me. I hope to come back because we know we are good enough to win. ”

Although Simons was one of the best defensive players of the last NBA season, his attack was catastrophic. The basketball player’s throw from the half distance and long throw line is at a very low level, gaining practically all his points only from the bottom of the basket. He ended the regular season with an average of 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists. During his NBA career, Simons has completed 34 three-point shots, taking just five of them.
