Covid-19: Unvaccinated Nets, Knicks and Warriors players will not be able to play at home

The NBA is preparing to return to the field with the 2021-22 season at the gates, but Covid-19 will remain a big problem around which the League will have to juggle with difficulty.

And after calling for a full vaccination for all who work in contact with players, The Athletic announces that Adam Silver will not offer an exception to players playing in zones (New York, San Francisco …) where compulsory vaccination has been required in buildings open to the public.

Therefore, unvaccinated Nets, Knicks and Warriors players will not be able to enter their respective gyms and training centers, unless they obtain “medical or religious” exemptions.

There is a curious twist to this matter since these rules only apply to residents. Unvaccinated opposing players, in fact, will be able to play at Barclays Center, Madison Square Garden or Chase Center very well.
