On Saturday 11 September the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the 1971 Conegliano Baseball Club was staged.
A moment of sport and conviviality that has allowed several generations of baseball lovers to be together and to share stories and memories.
There was no shortage of hard-fought matches that saw on the pitch from the little ones of the Promotional and Under 12s to the big ones of the amateur team.
A sporting moment that culminated in the afternoon with the Under 15 match who, in their first regional cup match, played with commitment and determination in the derby against Ponzano, winning 21 to 7.
“We are satisfied. – say from the company – Since this year we have concentrated our efforts on the development of the youth sector. We want to continue on this path ”.
Visibly moved at the moment of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the historic president Giovanni Forno, which on the occasion also celebrated its 60 years of baseball.
As for the other matches, the Under 12 team was defeated by the match with the battleship Rovigo, while in the evening the Baseball Bridge overtook the Coneglianese team after 7 hard fought innings. The evening ended in joy in the outdoor areas of the field.
