Basketball: Nobody stops Tokio

FIRMS. The Orientals set the course in the Posadeña Association.

The fourth date of the Official Tournament of the Posadeña Basketball Association (APBB) and for the two Tokyo teams it was again an ideal day, with victories that keep them high in the table.

In the double day played at the Jorge Yamaguchi stadium, the Red team from Oriental was the first to appear and did so with a 79-73 victory over Jorge Gibson Brown, in a very even game. Fernando Camano was intractable in the Verdirrojo and scored 38 points, but still did not reach the hierarchy of the homeowner, who had to Facundo Barreyro as his top scorer with 22 points.

In second shift, he came on stage the Yellow quintet of the Japanese, who also had to fight more than necessary to close an 86-75 against Itapúa Tennis Club.

As it has been doing date after date, Lucas Landi once again had an outstanding night with 34 units. However, this time the top gunner of the match was Mendoza, with 36 goals, which served only for his personal account as his team suffered its second fall in three presentations.

With the victories, both Tokyo casts lead the contest with ideal scores, although the Red team has a slight difference advantage (+1) over its Yellow namesake. As things are given, it gives the impression that the tip will be divided when it is their turn to play against.

It must be remembered that the date was launched last Monday with the triumph of CAPRI on Luz y Fuerza by 76-68 and that of Yellow Miter on April 2 (80-49).
