A signing bonus of 80 million euros: Real Madrid ready for anything for Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid will not let go. While Paris Saint-Germain refused a final offer of 200 million euros on the last day of the summer transfer window, Kylian Mbappé’s future no longer belongs to Paris. Released from any contract at the end of the season, in June 2022, the young Parisian striker will be entitled to negotiate with the club he likes from January 1 to engage freely at the end of the championship.

A signing bonus of 80 million?

And Real intends to negotiate from the first minutes of the new year. Willing to put 200 million euros on the table to buy out the Bondynois’ last year of contract, the White House club would be ready to offer a signing bonus of a record amount to close the deal as quickly as possible . According to the Spanish media Mark, we would even speak of 80 million euros, including bonuses and commissions of all kinds. Which would make Mbappé the most expensive free player in history.

A figure which is partly explained by competition from English clubs, able to offer the world champion a much higher salary than the funds of Real Madrid would allow. Karim Benzema’s club knows very well that, even free, the arrival of Kylian Mbappé cannot be done for free. But that doesn’t seem to frighten him.

PSG still in the race

Always according to Mark, Paris Saint-Germain would however still be in the race to sign a new contract for its nugget, arriving from Monaco in 2017 against 180 million euros. The Qatari club could include in the negotiations a release clause allowing him to sign for Real Madrid in an attempt to scratch one or more seasons from his striker in order to continue his attacking trio alongside Neymar and Lionel Messi.
