Before signing for Houston he had just completed his second season at Cairns Taipans in the NBL (the Australian league), where he distinguished himself with averages of 17.3 points, 10 rebounds and 1.4 against per game.
He played in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Warriors and posted 7.2 points to 51.9%, 6 rebounds and 1.4 against in 14.6 minutes.
With him the Lakers will have 18 contracts, including 16 standards, including 3 unsecured with those of Chaundee Brown and McMcClung. This means that there are potentially 2 places to take in the workforce for the season, and certainly 1.
