A judoka from Carcassonne will participate in the European Championships in combat ju-jitsu

Licensed in Carcassonne Olympique Judo, Faissal Etouisni will represent his club in Germany on September 25.

This is the pleasant surprise of this return: the European Championships in combat ju-jitsu will take place in Maintal in Germany on September 25, and the young member of Carcassonne Olympique Judo Ju-jitsu Faissal Etouisni will be well on the trip. Reigning French junior champion in 2019, he could only participate last season in the French junior championship because of the Covid, and only lost in the final. It is quite natural that he will defend his chances during this beautiful deadline, in – 55 kg.

Faissal will be accompanied by his trainer Cyril Juffroy, who has been following him since his debut on the tatami at COJ11. It’s a great reward for this very endearing young judoka, always available and attentive, who took the steps discreetly but surely. Here he is for the first time at European level: he will be keen to do well, as usual, and why not bring home a beautiful charm …

The entire Carcassonne Olympique Judo club will of course be behind him to support him in this great adventure. In the meantime, the COJ has prepared its return to school scheduled for Monday, September 13. The course schedule is available at the reception point of the Carcassonne Olympique omnisports center, or by phone at 04 68 78 44 69.

This new season will see the return of Estelle Gaspard, reigning world champion in ju-jitsu fighting in – 52 kg, recent finalist of the senior European championship and French military judo champion in the same category. She will reinforce the club’s team of teachers, and will, of course, give all young people the desire to follow the same course as hers …
