Venezuelan catcher Willson Contreras could return to the Chicago Cubs lineup next Thursday after rehab at Triple-A.
Contreras has been out of action since Aug. 12 with a knee injury and will be with the Iowa Cubs for two days.

“I don’t know what playing time is going to be like. I don’t know (how much) it will be behind the plate or in the frame, ”said the mask.
The Creole has been in 104 games this season and is hitting .226 with 17 homers and 40 RBIs.
Contreras would be available for the first of a series of games at Wrigley Field, next Thursday against Pirates.
