Usain Bolt against Marcell Jacobs and the shoes used at the Olympics

Continue to be at the center of discussions (sports and otherwise) Marcell Jacobs, the blue athlete who last Sunday won the gold medal in the 100 meters at the Olympics in Tokyo 2020.

After the unjustified and denied accusations of doping made by the British press, now it is the turn of Usain Bolt, who on social media broke the silence on the Italian athlete who “blew” the medal in what has always been his specialty.

“Lightning Bolt” he has won three Olympic medals in the last three Olympics played, scoring a time of only 22 hundredths of a second faster than Jacobs and for this reason the comparisons on social networks were not wasted.

Now, Bolt himself is speaking: he shared a story of a user with a post from the profile of the Olympic Games, which compares the times of Usain Bolt and Marcell Jacobs, adding: “We do not make comparisons”.

When asked about the race and the record of our Italian champion, Bolt commented on the shoes that the athletes in these Tokyo 2020 Olympics, defining them “A strange and unfair innovation” e “Bordering on ridicule” because, according to him, they would help the wearer’s performance too much.

As reported TuttoSport, in fact, the shoes would have a carbon plate in the sole and are slightly wider at the sole of the foot, as well as being lighter, thus giving a “super spring” effect that makes the athlete’s thrust and movement coordination more effective.

The shoes, however, do not have any irregularities, being the official shoes of all athletes and approved for the discipline by Worlds Athetics, which watches over the regularity of the athletes.
