According to the chairman of the referee committee of the Football Association of the Czech Republic Radek Příhoda, judge Radek Dubravský expelled Jan Silný from Líšeň in accordance with the rules for attacking a spectator in Sunday’s second league hit with Brno, but given the circumstances he would accept if the home player received only a yellow card or reprimanded at all. The 26-year-old attacker protected the elderly organizer, whom the fan knocked down. The incident is ready to arrive in person at Thursday’s meeting of the disciplinary commission of the League Football Association, which will deal with the incident.
“The referee followed the rules strictly, did what he had to do. On the other hand, we agreed on the commission that we could imagine that if there was a more experienced referee with a certain perspective, we would accept a yellow card, maybe without penalty.” said the incident at a meeting with journalists.
