The Neuquén basketball Apertura tournament is looking for its finalists

As is the case in the Alto Valle de Río Negro, andl Neuquén Basketball Opening tournament too entered its final stretch and looking for its first champion of the pandemic. After the regular phase, tomorrow the semifinals will start, which will be played in the best of three games.


The best four teams from the first part of the competition will fight to get into the definition of the championship that many teams use in preparation for the Integration Tournament.

Biguá, a team led by Mauricio Santángelo and one of the candidates to win the title, won the first place in the regular phase and will have home-court advantage against Centro Español de Plottier. El Torito finished in fourth place and will have a tough exam in the semis.

The series will begin tomorrow at the Biguá court and the game can be seen on YouTube. The second game will be held at the Temple of Plottier, on Monday, August 23.


The remaining semifinal, meanwhile, will begin on Saturday 21 and will feature Lácar de San Martín de los Andes and Pacífico de Neuquén. The second game will be played on Wednesday, August 25.
