DNine days after the bankruptcy in the city derby against FC St. Pauli em Hamburger SV failed to make amends. Against SV Darmstadt 98, the North Germans did not get more than 2: 2 (2: 2) in the second Bundesliga and now have only five points from four games. Darmstadt took the lead in front of 17,950 spectators with a converted penalty from Phillip Tietz (14th minute). Sebastian Schonlau (30th) and Moritz Heyer (45th) scored for HSV. Tietz equalized shortly before the break with his second goal (45th + 4).
Darmstadt has won four leagues and two draws at HSV in the past five years. HSV’s central defense was played out several times so that more goals could have been scored for the guests. Mathias Honsak had four chances in the first half alone.
The offensively oriented HSV often got into trouble when they suddenly lost the ball. The offensive struggled in the rousing, sometimes wild game and also had scoring opportunities. However, the precision was lacking.
FC Ingolstadt – 1. FC Nürnberg 0-0
1. FC Nürnberg missed their second win of the season at FC Ingolstadt, which was still without a win. In an intense neighborhood duel, the Franks had to be content with a goalless draw. SV Sandhausen achieved their first win of the season. The sand houses defeated FC Erzgebirge Aue in its stadium 3-1 (0-0). Alexander Esswein scored the first Sandhausen goal of the season after 52 minutes and put the guests in the lead in front of 6640 spectators.
Babacar Gueye (65th) headed the equalizer, which surprisingly fell at this point. After that only Aue played, but the other goals came from Janik Bachmann (82nd) and Sebiou Soukou (88th). Aue remains without a win after three draws at the start of the season.
