Rincón de la Victoria closes a very sporty month of August with a double badminton date. The Rubén Ruzafa Pavilion will host the Andalusia Under 15 and Under 19 Trophy on the weekend of 28 and 29 and the I Provincial Circuit Diputación Málaga. This has been communicated by the mayor of Sports, Antonio José Martín (PP).
“Our commitment to sports is determined and we continue to host events to promote sports practice in our neighbors. Spectacular sports such as badminton, which continues to grow in Rincón de la Victoria ”, explained the mayor of the area.
Next Saturday, August 28, the Rubén Ruzafa Pavilion will host the Andalusia Under 15 and Under 19 Trophy, which is scored in the national ranking and organized by the Andalusian Badminton Federation and our Municipal Badminton School.
With the guaranteed participation of almost fifty athletes, the Andalusia Trophy marks the start of scoring tournaments until the end of December. That is why it will have the participation of players from all the provinces of Andalusia.
“Rincón de la Victoria is already a fixed destination for sporting events on the provincial, regional and national scene. We continue to bet on this type of appointment that transcends the merely sports. These athletes usually come accompanied by family and friends and there are many who decide to spend the weekend in our city or repeat their visit later ”, explained the mayor of Rincón de la Victoria, Francisco Salado (PP).
For Sunday 29, on the same stage, the I Provincial Badminton Circuit will be held with the participation of the municipalities of Rincón de la Victoria, Cómpeta, Estepona and Villanueva de la Concepción.
