From 28-29 August 2021 the DBV-Country Cup Youth Baseball (U15) took place in Regensburg. In difficult conditions, especially on Sunday, Bayern prevailed 14: 3 against North Rhine-Westphalia in the final and won the U15 national baseball cup for the first time since 2012. In the preliminary round, the two teams had already prevailed undefeated and then won the semi-finals 11: 3 and 14: 3 against the selection teams from Hesse and Baden-Württemberg. Due to the weather, the games for third and fifth place could no longer be played or had to be canceled. At the award ceremony, Matthias Vogl (Bavaria) was named MVP, Darrion Richards (North Rhine-Westphalia) as Best Batter and Hendrik Hölle (Hesse) as Best Pitcher.
