Marc Klok is a new recruit for Persib Bandung
BOLASPORT.COM – Persib Bandung coach, Robert Alberts, rejected his team being named the most expensive team in Liga 1 2021-2022.
Reporting from the Transfermarkt website, Persib Bandung has the most expensive squad with a value of around 87 billion, the second place is Bali United with 83 billion.
This season, Maung Bandung brought in Marc Klok, Mohammed Rashid, and Geoffrey Castillion.
Interestingly, Klok, who was imported from Persija Jakarta, moved to Persib on a free transfer.
In fact, Klok is the most expensive player in Liga 1 with a market price of around 8.2 billion.

From this data, Alberts admitted that he only brought in players who had the quality and vision of Maung Bandung.
So, big names are not a benchmark for new Persib players.
“We are never looking for big names. We are looking for a name that has the desire to play for Persib, has the quality to be a Persib player, has a future here, and fits the needs of the team,” said Alberts, quoted by BolaSport.com from the Kompas.com page.
