This Sunday ends the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 with the last day of the competition. Most of the disciplines have already finished, but there are still a few medals to be assigned. Spain has obtained 17 metals and aspires to add the 18th with the match for the bronze between the men’s water polo team and Hungary. At noon the Olympic curtain will be lowered with the closing ceremony.
The highlights of the last day:
- RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS. Final of the men’s team competition (04.00).
- HANDBALL. Match for the bronze of the women’s tournament: Norway-Sweden (04.00). Final for the gold: ROC-France (08.00).
- BASKETBALL. Final of the women’s tournament: USA-Japan (04.30).
- TRACK CYCLING. Speed finals from 04.45.
- WATERPOLO. Match for the bronze of the men’s tournament: Hungary-Spain (06.40). Final for the gold: Greece-Serbia (09.30).
- CLOSING CEREMONY. From 1:00 p.m.
Results:
- ATHLETICS. Ayad Lamdassem finished fifth, Daniel Mateo 21st and Javier Guerra 33rd in the marathon final.
