The New Orleans Saints will not be returning home at this time.
Team head coach Sean Payton told media on Tuesday that his team will not be in New Orleans during the month of September to allow the city to get back on its feet after the passage of the hurricane Ida.
For now, the Saints have a temporary home at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium to end their training camp. The organization was scheduled to kick off its regular season on September 12 against the Green Bay Packers at the Superdome. No plan has been put forward for the presentation of this match.
The Saints were then scheduled to play two road games in September, in Carolina and New England. The next scheduled game in New Orleans is October 3 against the New York Giants.
