Autumn is approaching and with it a whole flood of new games. So that you don’t lose track of the game releases in September 2021, we reveal the five highlights, an indie insider tip and the complete list of all new game releases this month.

29. August 2021: This September, gamers can expect a whole series of games that have repeatedly been postponed to a later date. But at the same time, well-known series of games welcome us with new versions. September offers everything from new editions of popular sports games to brand new games from renowned game studios a plethora of releasesthat prepare us for autumn, which is packed with new titles. We’ll tell you which five game highlights you shouldn’t miss out on this month and show you an indie title that is currently still under the radar. At the end of the article you can find the current release list for September 2021.

Like every month only make it five particularly promising games in our highlights list. Still, you should get that too Death Stranding Director’s Cut (here is our review of the original), New World and Kena: Bridge of Spirits not to be missed (which we both mentioned before their delay in our August preview).

Life is Strange: True Colors (10. September)

Whoever Max Caulfield’s adventures in Life is Strange von Dontnod Entertainment and later Deck Nine will now with a high probability True Colors to look forward to. That narrative Adventure This time the player is in the shoes of Alex, who, like the protagonist of the first part, has supernatural abilities. NBA 2K22 (10. September)

Basketball fans can look forward to the latest version of the globally popular sports simulator being released on September 10th NBA 2K22 by 2K for Playstation, Xbox, PC and Switch. This time on the cover: The slow Basketball player Luka Dončić, who plays for the Dallas Mavericks and is currently considered one of the sport’s greatest talents in Europe. A complete in-game awaits the player new block system and a general overhaul of the city for PS5 and Xbox Series S and X, where players can again experience an RPG-based experience with quests and career opportunities away from basketball this year. Owners of the previous generation of consoles have to be content with a stripped-down neighborhood system on a cruise ship with a few shores during the season.

WarioWare: Get It Together (10. September)

Mario faces competition on September 10th. Because his evil Alterego hijacked the Nintendo Switch with his in September addicting mini-games in WarioWare: Get It Together. Lost in Random (10. September)

After EA started with It Takes Two (here our review) has shown a keen sense for exciting indie productions, submits it as a publisher Lost In Random by developer Zoink! on September 10th again. That whimsical adventure takes the player on Playstation, Xbox, PC and Switch into the world of random, where children decide their fate with a dice on their twelfth birthday. The twisted and sometimes eerie random we traverse as Even in search of our sister Odd puts you right in Halloween whimsy. Not all residents are as friendly even as their quirky companion Dicey – the player has to prove himself to be a shrewd strategist in battle in arenas similar to a game board.

Deathloop (14. September)

After a delay of Deathloop Hopefully the time will come on September 14th and that Action-adventure from the Dishonored developers Arkane Studios is finally coming to PS5 and PC. As a hit man Colt, you wake up in a time warp on the island of Blackreef. After a wild night of partying with the other residents of the former army base, the day starts all over again. Only Colt remembers. Unlike in The marmot greets you every day the protagonist doesn’t have to find love or become a better person. On the contrary: To break out of the loop, Colt must take out eight targets before midnight. If you liked previous arcane titles like Prey or Dishonored, you can look forward to stealth passages and creative interaction possibilities with the game world of Deathloop.

Indie insider tip in September 2021: Sable (September 23)

With Sable we almost give you one meditative gaming experience from Kingdom-Entwickler Raw Fury to the heart. As a gamer, you accompany the heroine Sable on her pilgrimage through a sheer on PC or Xbox (in Game Pass from day one) endless open world desert. On the way you gradually learn more and more about the inhabitants and the past of the sand world. You can explore everything, have in-depth conversations with the residents and discover the remains of mysterious spaceship wrecks. Climb a mountain, jet through the dunes with your hoverbike or glide high over the sand with your umbrella – the options for your locomotion are almost endless. And that makes up a good part of the attraction eiUnique graphics paired with the soundtrack the end.
