National: attractive winner of Chambly (1-2), the Red Star finally launches its season

The Red Star is holding its benchmark match to launch its season. The Saint-Ouen club was very attractive this Friday evening to dominate its neighbor Chambly, at home (1-2). Defeated in the first two days, Vincent Bordot’s team showed tactical consistency, with high pressing and a much stronger defense to sign their first victory in the league. As for the Camblysiens, the first match at the Stade des Marais of the season did not really succeed.

What you must remember

A derby started on the hats of wheels for Chambly, with an alert on the goals of Ludovic Butelle from the first minute. Then nothing. And it is the Red Star who takes advantage, after the quarter of an hour of play, with the magnificent sequence of Cheikh Ndoye, control catch of volley chained which finds the small right net of Chambly (0-1, 22nd). A recovery from the pressing of Bosca, a center deposited from Durand and the quality of the former midfielder of Angers, alone at the penalty point, did the rest.

An opening of the scoring which completely destabilizes FC Chambly. Almost in the following minute, Ba almost doubled the bet but his attempt went just above the opposing goal (23rd). Overall, a first half dominated by an attractive Red Star despite the double opportunity in added time for the FCCO.

And the second period took place on the same basis. Pape Meïssa Ba should have got a penalty, five minutes after the restart for a flag pulling shirt on entering the area. In the process, the strike of Dieng at 20 m touched the skylight of Pinoteau and failed to make the break. It was only a postponement for the Red Star since 10 minutes later, Ba was perfectly positioned at the far post to push the ball into the back of the net on a Durand cross (0-2, 66 ‘).

Without reaction, Chambly waited until the last minute of the game to reduce the score on a distant free kick, with a header from Jordan Pierre Charles on a bad exit from Ludovic Butelle (1-2, 95th). Insufficient to reverse the encounter.

The player: Cheikh Ndoye

Overpowered in the duels, the former resident of Ligue 1 dominated the midfield of this Paris derby. Systematically found pivoting on the clearances, the captain of the Red Star was also the first pressing ramp at the Stade du Marais. Without forgetting, of course, his magnificent sequence to open the scoring, and score his first goal of the season. In short, the handyman this Friday.

The number: 1

Chambly’s victory count throughout its history against its neighbor Red Star will remain stuck at one (November 28, 2014, 1-0). Since then, the Oise club now has five defeats, including this 0-8 humiliation on the 30th day in April 2015, and two draws. A real black cat.
