“More stimulation in playing against an A2 club” – Sport

The curtain on the Raggisolaris season will rise, as usual, with the derby at PalaCosta against OraSì, a challenge that for years has inaugurated the preseason of Faenza. The curtain on the Raggisolaris season will rise, as usual, with the derby at PalaCosta against OraSì, a challenge that for years has inaugurated the preseason of Faenza. The match will be played at 7 pm behind closed doors, a choice made by the Raggisolaris management also for the internal pre-season commitments (but they will be broadcast on the club’s Facebook page to allow fans to return to breathe basketball air).

“After ten days of training, the balance is very positive – comments coach Alberto Serra -. The team is working hard and at a high pace, as I am asking. The group has already understood that it will always be necessary to have great intensity during matches and I’m already seeing the right mentality. Obviously, we still have a lot of work to do to grow, but we’re on the right path. ”

From today’s match, the coach from Faenza does not pretend to see a team already in condition, also given the hard workloads in the legs due to physical preparation, but asks to pass a first maturity exam. “I expect little from the friendly from the technical side, but I want to see the team react well in difficult moments and remain united to overcome them, with the players who will have to help and look for each other. Given the moment of the season we are experiencing, for sure there will be mistakes and a lot of turnovers and therefore we will have to put in the right attitude to get to know each other and find the first automatisms. Playing against a Serie A2 team will also have to increase our stimuli “.

The Raggisolaris will return to the field on Sunday 5th September, at 7.30 pm, against Mestre (the Venetians have been playing their pre-season retreat on the Romagna Riviera for several seasons) and on Wednesday 8th at PalaCattani against Andrea Costa Imola. Two tests that will serve to prepare the debut in the Super Cup against Bologna Basket 2016, which will be Sunday 12, at 18.30, at PalaCattani, in a single elimination tournament.

Precisely the path in this event will affect the program of the friendly matches, given that the following matches will be on the 15th, 19th and in the weekend of 2426 with the Final Eight. All challenges will be free live streaming, except the final stage.
